Jonathan is 3 now! It's hard to believe he's already been with us for that long. He's such a great kid - so funny, cute, and smart. I love the way his mind works. He really thinks through things. For example: we were driving in the car one day & out of the blue he said "Mom, Jingle Bells (the song) is just for Christmas, but we can sing it anytime too." And the other day he was playing with his matchbox cars & Emily's cash

register toy was on the coffee table near them. So he decided he'd combine the two. He set the cars in front of the cash register drawer & then pushed the button that made the drawer open. This caused the cars to go rolling forward & off the table. I would have never thought to play with the cars like that, but it was really fun! Here's a shot of him on his birthday. He requested a cookie cake like the one Emily had. We took him to Red Robin for lunch too - also per his request. We love having him in our family. He's such a great addition & so, so fun. We look forward to seeing what he will do with his life & how that great mind of his will continue to develop. I have a feeling he's gonna have me doing some research to answer some big questions he'll have for me! :-)
